Si Bodoh 1: "I would sail the seven seas just to find you."

Si Bodoh 2: "Don’t be silly. You can’t read maps."

Si Bodoh 1: "You see those beautiful stars in the night sky? I would fly up there, pick the best one, and bring it back for you."

Si Bodoh 2: "I thought you’re smarter than this. First, they’re heavy you know. Second, you’ll burn your hand. Third, if you bring even the smallest star to Earth, that means the end of the world. Didn’t your teacher ever tell you about the term ‘kiamat’?"

Si Bodoh 1: "Can’t you please appreciate every single thing I would do for you? What is so hard to say ‘thanks-dear-I-love-you’? Even if I say I would give you the whole world, can’t you just show me a little expression of happiness??”

Si Bodoh 2: “Did I ever ask you for that?”

Si Bodoh 1: “How could you say something so mean?”

Si Bodoh 2: “I’m not mean.”

Si Bodoh 1: “Your words are. I would do everything for you. Now tell me, if one day I die, would you die with me too?”

Si Bodoh 2: “Nope.”

Then Si Bodoh 1 turned his back and walked away.

Leaving Si Bodoh 2.

His heart broken.

He could never see Si Bodoh 2’s eyes.

Which were getting red and slightly puffy.

He’s stupid. She’s stupid.

She’s too stupid to tell what’s exactly on her mind.

He’s too stupid to ask her why.

“I don’t want you to get lost in the middle of nowhere. All alone in the stormy sea. I’m afraid of that. I swear I really am. And actually, you don’t have to go anywhere just to find me, because I’m always here beside you. Why don’t you take me along? So we can sail away, get lost, and get seasick together?”

“I’m not asking for the most beautiful star in the sky. I’m asking for the most beautiful moment in my life. That’s when you and I sit side by side, on top of the hill, watching this pretty night sky together. I don’t want you to risk your life to find something I never even asked for. What if you’re lost in the space and never return? Living a life without you feels like ‘kiamat’ for me.”

“If you’re too busy collecting every piece of the world, then you won’t have time to be with me. I’m not asking for the world. I’m asking to be with you. That means more than the world for me.”

“You don’t have to be someone who can do so many great things just to make me love you. Because I love you in every way.”

“I want to put some little white flowers on your gravestone.  I want to pray for you everyday. I want to ask The Lord to place you in the most beautiful garden Heaven can have, and to take care of you forever. I know there’s nothing harder than living a life without you beside me, but no, I can’t die with you. It’s illegal and sinful to commit suicide. And if I do that, then I won’t be able to do all those things for you.”

“I haven’t finished my sentences. That’s my fault, I’m sorry. But if only you asked me why…”

That’s the reason Si Bodoh 1 could never hear.

Yak, kisah yang tolol. Maaf deh gue nggak jago bikin cerita yang lebih intelek. Ini bentuk ekstrimnya sih. Tapi ada aja kok yang kayak gitu. Sedih deh liatnya. Banyakan jengkelnya malah. Esssmosi memuncak seperti saat menonton sinetron-sinetron remaja yang diproduseri Raam Punjabi (fyi, konon telah berubah menjadi Ram Punjabii, atas alasan penyegaran nama) di stasiun-stasiun TV lokal. Huh!!

Tapi mau diapain lagi. Kadang manusia suka terluka oleh sesuatu yang sebenarnya nggak dibuat untuk melukai. Salah paham aja bisa bikin sakit hati. Banget. Padahal belum tentu ada maksud jahat. Bahkan nggak semua itikad baik berakhir bahagia.

Nggak semua orang bisa melihat suatu alasan secara utuh. Banyak orang nggak bisa menjelaskan suatu alasan dengan lengkap. Mungkin karena penyampai info malu, takut, atau kemampuan verbalnya buruk. Dan parahnya, si penerima info nggak bisa mengerti.

Mungkin juga karena,

Lo belum selesai ngomong, dia udah bikin kesimpulan sendiri.

Kita niatnya begini, mereka mikirnya begitu.

Si ini nggak bisa menjelaskan maksudnya, si itu nggak pernah konfirmasi.

Trus masing-masing salah mengerti.

Ujung-ujungnya perang deh.

Duh, jangan dong.

Jangan begitu.

Apa susahnya mengungkapkan sesuatu dengan jelas?

Apa susahnya bertanya lebih lanjut?

Sulit memahami.

Sulit dipahami.

Tolong kasih tau gue,

Kenapa ya manusia seperti itu?
